The BMW Serie 7 has been on sale since 1977. In that time it has had 11 generations or facelifts: E23 (1977), E32 (1986), E38 (1994), E38 restyling (1998), E65 (2001), E65 restyling (2005), F01 (2008), F01 restyling (2012), G11 (2015), G11 restyling (2019) and G70 (2022).
